View the Latest Legislative Newsletter Here Friends and Neighbors: As the 2012 legislative session begins I want to encourage you to get involved. Last session thousands of people called, emailed, and attended hearings on the Luna bills and Medicaid cuts. And while the overwhelming majority was ignored by the legislature, we must keep up the pressure for sane, rational public policy. If you live local think about coming to the Statehouse and tracking down your legislator for a chat (try and keep it positive!). You can always email your legislator by going to http://bit.ly/ehGmtg. You can also call the legislature at 332-1000 and leave a message for your legislator. Look for some exciting developments this year as Idaho Democrats fight for the middle class and inform the public about exactly what the majority party is all about as they control all aspects of state government. To my constituents, please feel free to contact me and please take advantage of the four forums and weekly office hours that Team 17 offers. If you would like to be placed on the Team 17 email newsletter list please email me at elliotwerk@gmail.com. By signing up you will receive legislative updates every two weeks and reminders about our forums and weekly office hours. If you would like to contact me: Telephone
